Though many of us are cooped up at home, there’s also that sense of hope we all share — to experience once again a sunny, carefree vacation (especially during summer) just like in the past. While having kids raises the bar in living out rock-solid hygiene practices, this also means that when we do get the chance to let them have a taste of the outdoors, the precautions we take are impregnable.
We may be dreaming and planning a beach vacation -- or any outdoor adventure for that matter — which would entail a lot of preparation. The priorities may shift to a certain degree considering the protocols we must take. But, once we know what must be done (what process to undergo, and the likes), how to prepare ourselves “mentally” with the situation -- if all of these seem to go smoothly, then we’re good to go.
So, here are some of the important things that should be on our list when packing:
Zero Fragrance — for families with kids below 18 months old or those with sensitivities or allergies
All-in-One — for those comfortable with its fruity scent
*A pack (or so) of extra masks for adults and the kids -- you’ll never know how much you’re gonna need
*Disinfectant Spray or Plasma Sterilizer -- to thoroughly disinfect the place where you’ll be staying; same thing for the bathroom, and other objects found inside the room (if you're using cottages/cabins, etc.)
*Other outdoor essentials:
💚 sunscreen (an SPF of 30-50 should be enough for our little ones)
💚 sun-protective attires or beachwear
💚 shades for kids (with UVB and UVA protection)
💚 Sacred 7+ (the active ingredient Avena Sativa will give the skin more moisture after each swim under the sun -- if you're going to the beach)
*Sacred Kids (for morning and evening bath) -- because of its 4 active ingredients, it provides broader protection and cleansing of the body especially every after vigorous activity
💛 Sacred Kids is safe for infants and toddlers below 3 yrs of age (it can be used during special days when the little ones are safely out and about
💛 Sacred Kids is good for parents too
We only need to cleanse our bodies well enough to get rid of any unwanted microorganisms without having to put our skin's integrity at risk.
Happy planning and stay safe always, moms and dads!
